There hasn’t been a break since coming home from Costa Rica. I have many commissions still stacked on my plate to complete this summer, but I have been making progress and finished one custom painted Bible 🥳 You are one of the first to see it!

The lady who commissioned me to paint this Premier Collection NKJV Genuine Leather Bible will be gifting it to her grandma 🥰 She told me her grandma loves magpies (the bird that’s painted on the front cover)

And she asked me to paint Psalm 91:10-11 on it 🩵

I super happy with the finished results of it and so is the lady! I think at some point I’ll turn this magpie into a sticker and maybe bookmarks and prints too, but that’s gonna have to a wait a bit while I catch up on other work.

A local dance studio owner contacted me through my website and asked me if I was available to teach some classes at the summer dance intensive they were hosting this week. It was kinda short notice and I definitely am swamped with a lot of art work to do, but the dancer in me couldn’t resist the opportunity of meeting and working with new students. I taught guided dance improvisation classes and strength conditioning classes.

The students gave it their all and were so present and open to learning new things. They inspired me ✨ Plus I gotta add they pushed through the pain I was putting them through in my strengthening classes 🤪💪🏽 But don’t worry they weren’t the only ones embracing the pain 😂 I don’t just “teach” my classes… I do the moves and exercises right along with them so yeah my body is currently quite sore 😅 haha no pain no gain right?! 😜🔥

Before I forget to mention this… I’ve been receiving requests of people asking me to turn this painting I did on a Bible ⬆️ into a sticker. I heard the demand and worked on adding this new sticker into my shop 🩷

I finally got my first Costa Rica vlog posted on my YouTube Channel! I have many more vlogs to edit, but at least you now have one to watch 😉 This vlog is mainly about getting packed and ready for the trip’s adventures and meeting up with my friend Katie Smith. ✈️ 🇨🇷

Speaking of Costa Rica, today I’m working on packaging all of my Keao Club members’ goodies which features art I created while I was in Costa Rica.

The letters in this July edition are the longest letters I’ve ever written for any edition of my monthly art print club… they are 3 and a half pages long 😆 I couldn’t help it. I just have so many fun stories and things to share from my trip.

I hope the Keao Club goodies will bring joy and a splash of Pura Vida to everyone who will receive them 🤙🏽

I wanna share something that touched my heart today. In May there were 44 Keao Club members and then in June it grew to 64 members. I was hoping that maybe it would grow to 75 members for this month. Although I honestly was just soooo happy it grew past the 50 members milestone. I think I was just hoping for it to grow more cause of how EXCITED I am to send out this edition to share all the stories behind each subject drawn on the artwork 🐒 🍃 🐢 🥭 🍍 🦋 🦥 🐚

Anyways today since I’m packaging the club goodies, I was counting the members and the Keao Club has grown to 76 members 🥹 WOWEEEE! God heard my lil hope/ silent prayer. He is such a loving Father.

Thank you to everyone who has joined the club. It truly is one of my favorite things to do each month. Getting to create you different art, share the stories behind it, and mail it out to you brings me joy 🫶🏽
