It’s been two weeks since I’ve sat down to write an email to you all.

I tried to last week, but I was so overwhelmed.
​
I felt scattered, unfocused, and I could tell I was trying to look for some sort of escape/ break from all that’s been stacked on my plate.

Most of the time I turned to my phone and caught myself scrolling on Instagram, when I should have been bringing my burdens to God and being honest about what I was struggling with.

I have tendencies to try and do it all on my own.

Once August hit, I put a lot of pressure on myself when I realized I still had a ton of things on my to-do-list to complete before September gets here.

And there are many things (exciting things) coming up September-November (I’ll be sharing more about those exciting things soon)

Last week, I recognized it was time for me to step away from social media for the rest of the month so I could turn more of my focus to growing my relationship with the Lord, complete the work well that I’ve been blessed, and enjoy these last few weeks of summer weather with family.

This past week has been so nice!

I completed another painting for the children’s book I’ve been collaborating on with an author. ⬆️ this is a lil sneak peek teaser…sorry I can’t share the subject of the painting yet 🤭

So far now 12 paintings are completed in the acrylic stage, I have 2 more to paint and then I will be adding layers of oil paint to them all to add more depth to the art.

Then this wonderful project will be passed back to the author for her to piece it together with her beautiful story so it can be produced into books that I believe families will cherish and will enjoy reading to their children.💕

I also spent hours at the dance studio choreographing new pieces with my students for the next competition season.

It always feels good going back to the first art form I fell in love with (dance) and getting to share the love and passion with the next generation of dancers.

I’m excited to reveal the August edition of my mail print club goodies to you 🥳

This leopard has quite the story to her and I am looking forward to sharing about it with all of my club members in the letters I’ll be sending out along with the leopard print! 💌

Plus… for those that are Premium Members I’ll share about the story of the tiger artwork that they each will receive as a vinyl sticker ✨

The club has steadily growing which is so sweet to me 🥹

One of my favorite things to do each month is send out all of the club goodies and letters to people across the United States as well as to members located in Canada, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, and now Thailand too!

I’m blown away by the love so many of you have expressed about the bookmark collection I released 🥹

Receiving your sweet messages and reviews about the bookmarks has been so heart-touching 🫶🏽

I have soooo many more artworks I want to turn into bookmark designs for y’all and I’m trying to release more when I find the spare time to do so in between everything else I’m working on, but I did recently release this octopus bookmark featuring Psalm 139:14 on it in my Etsy shop🤎
