A smile came to my face.

After many days and late night hours put into this painting…

My largest commission has been completed!

Well I’m currently waiting for the oil paint layers to dry before I can varnish it, but otherwise this large beauty is just about done and will soon be leaving my studio 🥲

A lot of love has been poured into this piece.

I low key kinda wish I could keep it for myself 🤭

But I know it will be displayed, loved, and cherished in it’s wonderful home it was created for 🤍

I’m not gonna share the finished results yet cause I want to get great photos of it when it fully dries 😉 however I’ll at least share a peek of the color palette and a small portion of the painting.

Besides painting this past week and working on getting the August edition of my club goodies ready to be mailed (I’ll get to that in a bit), I’ve been spending quite a handful of hours dancing and creating new choreography with my dance students.

The choreography for one dance was completed today and I still have a few more to finish.

It’s been a lot of fun getting to see not only my artistry expand within choreographing over the years, but also really see my students grow in their skills and artistry development.

Getting to work with younger generations is always inspiring to me and brings me joy!

I love the rawness and fresh passion they bring to the studio ✨

I mentioned I was working on getting the August edition of my art mail club goodies ready 🤩

And I gotta say I’m really excited for this month’s art to be sent out!

This artwork has quite the story to it (which all of the club members will get to read about in the letters I’m sending them 🥰)

So far today I’ve packaged 30 members’ packages and I still have over 40 more to package up 😍💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌

I had a spontaneous idea strike me to create a short film. It came to me suddenly when I was listening and dancing to the song “The Cost is a Joy” by SEU Worship when a beloved friend Harper sent it to me 🎶 so I grabbed my Bible, couple phone tripods, and went out to the woods in God’s beautiful creation to praise, worship, and dance. These last summer, sunny days are beautiful and I couldn’t resist spending this precious time with Him.
