Today is the day I’m going to share with you the reveal of my largest commission.

The painting process started with prayer, worship, and praise.

He blessed me with this beautiful opportunity to create this painting for a wonderful woman in my life who’s also been a long time collector and supporter of my work.

He deserves the glory 🙌🏽

This beloved woman reached out to me in November of 2025 asking if I could paint her a statement piece for her new home.

She said she wanted one of her favorite artists who she personally knew to create this for her.

I felt incredibly honored she asked me to be the artist for this creation ahead 🤍

She wanted something mainly in a black and white color palette that was modern with a blend of abstract with subjects that portrayed a balance of masculinity and femininity, strength and elegance, with a lot of movement, mystery, and soul.

This piece has been months in the works and without me spilling too much more of the details I’m gonna let you see the final results…

This became one of those paintings that I wish I could have kept for myself… it’s beauty, intriguing chemistry between the lady and gentleman, and passionate movement through the piece really started to grasp me more and more as I worked on this piece.

When I finally finished the last brush stroke, I sat on a chair a ways back from the artwork to admire the masterpiece it had become and…

… I cried.

There are not many paintings I’ve created that have brought me to tears.

This one especially hit different for me.

Oh my gosh…

Dang…

As I’m typing this the tears are rising up in my eyes again….

“Come on Bri pull it together”

This piece is open for your own interpretation which is why I encouraged you to take a moment to admire its details and let the story unfold to you, but I think I’m about to get vulnerable and share the story what this piece revealed to me when I looked at it.

I see a man who has found his future wife. He is stunned by the incredible gift in front of him. His soul is filled with love that flows out of him with passion for her. His eyes portray this look of light, clear intention, and determination that stems deeper from his heart filled with a Godly purpose to protect, provide, and care for this woman God has put in His life. He wants nothing more than to treat this woman with the upmost respect and with a heart like Christ. He wants to lead her, grow a family with her, and share the rest of his life with her. He doesn’t care how hard the journey will be or how difficult some seasons will be to endure together, because getting to go through life with her means more than words could ever describe. He will never leave her side.

I see the man’s belt as a symbolization of the “Belt of Truth” (Ephesians 6:14) to be a reflection of his character of being a man who speaks truth of Scripture and the Gospel, and wants to always speak truth over her life and their family’s life, signifying honesty and integrity.

God has opened his eyes and has brought his future wife to him. Now it’s time for this man to rise up and pursue her.

I see a woman who has been independent for most of her life. She’s driven and focused on her purpose and calling. She might come across as “hard to get” but there just hasn’t been a man who has stepped up to pursue her in a Godly way. She doesn’t know that’s her husband yet. It will take her a bit of time to recognize that as most men in her life have only played with her heartstrings and she has been cautious about who she opens her heart to cause once she does, she knows she goes all in as she is such a giver and loves so deeply.

I see the large flower on her dress as a symbolization of her love for the Lord that has been continually blossoming throughout her walk with Him. Each petal reflects the different chapters and seasons she’s gone through. Some have been small and short while others have been long and enduring. Each one though has shaped her into the woman she is today and magnifies the unique beauty of her.

I view the small flower in her hair as a reflection of her other hopes and desires that are growing in her. These hopes and desires started later in her life as God had to heal and work within her heart to remove the lies she was believing. Lies that she’d probably never be fully loved. Lies that no man would ever truly see the worth and value she’d bring to his life. These lies have been removed and have allowed the desires deep down within her to rise up and begin to blossom…. the desires to hopefully, in the future, step into the calling of being a Godly wife to serve and help her husband… the desires to be a mother someday and raise children up in the Lord.

She’s been in her waiting season for a long time. She doesn’t know it yet, but that season will soon be coming to an end as God has placed her future husband to walk into to her life at just the timing.

It’s all in His perfect plans.
