well I ended up finishing it and had to show you first before I post it on socials because there is something else I’m releasing to you first before anyone else with an exclusive code!

First let me show you the finished Bible ⬇️

A lady reached out to me through my Etsy Shop and asked me to paint a Bible with a black and white roaring lion on it wearing a crown of thorns with some gold paint accents around and have the verse Philippians 4:13 written in the back.

She told me she’s going to be gifting this to her brother for his graduation ☺️🤍 Isn’t that so sweet? 🥹 aaaahhh my heart ♥️

This Bible has risen to being in the top favs of all the Bible’s I’ve painted!

It was joyful getting to package and ship this Bible out to the customer, but at the same time I felt kinda sad that all I had left of this creation was photos. 🥺

I felt like the depth and meaning of this painting was very profound as it carries a striking, almost reverent intensity.

Like when you look at it first glance, the black and white rendering of the lion feels so timeless and powerful.

The absence of color tends to sharpen every detail which is probably why I tend to find myself absolutely loving it when I get the opportunities to create in black and white.

I mean don’t get me wrong I LOVE color but the boldness and intensity you can get from black and white is incredible!!

Specifically with this art piece the texture of the mane, the tension in the face muscles, and the raw force in the open jaws all becomes more enhanced.

The more you look at this piece it’s almost as if you can feel the magnitude of the lion’s roar. 🔥

This lion becomes more than a display of authority, defiance, and presence…it becomes a declaration… “JESUS IS KING.”

I felt like I had to do something to turn this art piece into something for others to collect and share this declaration in their homes or offices or wherever they’d chose to display this mighty lion, so I spent hours working on getting these new prints ready for their surprise release!
