Now let’s jump into the Bibles I finished painting last month that no one on socials has gotten to see yet!
A sweet lady who came across my TikTok page sent me a message through my Etsy shop and commissioned me to custom paint the Aurora Borealis (northern lights) on her personal Bible. 🤩 She loves it and so do I!!!! It always makes me happy when my customer and I are both stoked with the final results! I just freakin LOVE how the Aurora Borealis appears to be illuminating off of the Bible cover 🌌 ✨
Now the next Bibles below have quite a story to them…
Another sweet lady who also came across my TikTok page sent me a message through my Etsy shop and asked me to custom paint a new genuine leather NLT journaling Bible for her sister in law. And she sent me a screenshot of her sister in law’s message of things she likes and in her message she said she likes the colors blue, yellow, 1 Corinthians 16:14, and stingrays. So I was excited as I had some ideas come to mind and the sweet lady just fully trusted me and I went ahead and painted blue water and a yellow orangish stingray with her fav Bible verse written on the back.
I sent her a photo of it finished all excited to hear what she would say and she really liked it but she politely said you painted a stingray and not a manta ray and I was like so puzzled?! After some back and forth messages it turned out in the original screenshot she sent me of her sister in law’s messages there were messages I didn’t see and one of the messages was covered so I never knew or saw that she actually wanted a manta ray instead of a stingray 🤦♀️ whoops
She asked me to paint a manta ray over the stingray but I just couldn’t get myself to do it after all of the hours I spent working on the stingray, so I ordered another Bible and painted the whole thing with a manta ray on it!
She loved it and that made me happy!
But now I have a one of a kind stingray painted Bible looking for someone who’d love to have it and use it 🩵
